Join us for What is Mother Goose on the Loose? "Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy program that uses rhymes and songs to help prereading chidren get ready for reading. It incorporates music, movement, ritual, repetition, positive reinforcement, developmental tips, nursery rhymes, illustrations, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and book reading into a fun-filled thirty minute session for children with their parent or caregiver." Program Details Do I need to register? Can I bring my child to all sessions? My child won’t sit still for half an hour, can I come? This program was made possible by a grant from MBLC and the Institute for Museum of Library Services For information concerning access to Library programs please contact the Assistant Library Director at 978-388-8148or by mail at Amesbury Public Library, 149 Main Street, Amesbury, MA 01913. While the Library seeks to provide reasonable accommodation upon request for access to routine Library programs and resources, It is preferable that requests for accommodation with regard to scheduled program events be made at least one week prior to the event to allow the Library sufficient time to make alternate arrangements for the event.
