GETTING AN AMESBURY LIBRARY CARD
Any Amesbury resident is eligible to get an Amesbury library card! To see a full list of who is eligible to get a library card click here. To get a library card, bring proof of residence to the library, acceptable forms include:
- driver’s license with current Amesbury address on it
- tax bill with picture ID
- checkbook with picture ID
- mail/utility bill with picture ID
Children under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will need to show proof of Amesbury residence.

Please note, that your barcode and password will be emailed to you upon receiving your application, which gives you full access to our electronic resources. The physical card will be mailed at the same time. The first time you want to use the card in-person you will need to bring a proof of your Amesbury address with you.
