We support our mission of fulfilling the cultural, social, and recreational needs of the community by developing and presenting programs that provide additional opportunities for information, learning, and entertainment. Programming is an integral component of library services that expands the library’s role as a community resource, introducing the public to library resources.

Some programs do not require registration and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If registration is required, it will be indicated in the event listing on the Calendar of Events.

Access Information
For information concerning access to Programs, please contact the Library Director at 978-388-8148 or by mail at Amesbury Public Library, 149 Main St., Amesbury, MA 01913. While the Library seeks to provide reasonable accommodation upon request for access to routine Library programs and resources, it is preferable that requests for accommodation with regard to scheduled events be made at least one week prior to the event to allow the Library sufficient time to make alternate arrangements for the event.
Sponsors
Funding for programming and supplies is provided by the Friends of the Amesbury Library, local businesses, donations from the community, and the donation of presenters of their time. Thank you to them all!
