We support our mission of fulfilling the cultural, social, and recreational needs of the community by developing and presenting programs that provide additional opportunities for information, learning, and entertainment. Programming is an integral component of library services that expands the library's role as a community resource and introduces the public to library resources.

  • Kids Programs (0 to 12 years old)
  • Teen Programs (13 to 18 years old)
  • Adult Programs (18+ years old)

To register for a program online, go to our Calendar of Events. Click on the program you wish to register for.  (If registering for a series, click on the first event in the series.)  There will either be an embedded registration form or a link to register via Zoom. You may also register by phone by calling 978-388-8148.

Some programs do not require registration and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If registration is required, it will be indicated in the event listing on the Calendar of Events.

Whether you register online or by calling the library, if an email address is provided, you will receive email reminders of your registration.

Funding for programming and supplies is provided by the Friends of the Amesbury Library, local granting organizations and foundations, local businesses, donations from the community, and the donation of presenters of their time. Thank you to them all! See more on the Support the Library page.
