Library front doors closed for front stair repair, use rear entrance

Beginning March 20, 2026 the front steps of the library will be closed for repairs. This work will take a few days during which the front doors will not be available, to enter the building please use the rear ramp entrance facing the parking lot.

This project is made possible by the success of the Annual Appeal lead by the Friends of the Amesbury Public Library, Library Board of Trustees, and Charitable Trust last year. We are so grateful to all who donated! Your generous contributions are allowing us to make this much needed repair in advance of the high school Promenade in May where our steps and courtyard are filled by this joyous community event.
